BWYD DA MÔN ARE RECRUITING DIRECTORS
Join us as a volunteer director and be part the executive team of an organisation committed to reducing the level of food waste going into landfill, tackling poverty, providing information advice & assistance and working collaboratively with various agencies from across Anglesey.
What will you be doing?
We are looking for volunteer Directors to join our executive team.
You will be joining a fairly new team at a pivotal time as we re-set our strategic priorities and plan. We have recently appointed our first Bwyd Da Môn Development Manager who will operationally lead on our expansion.
The right person can make this role their own but the fundamental aspects of the role will include: • Attending executive/board meetings on a bi-weekly basis by virtual means • Support with attracting grant funding and raising the profile of Bwyd Da Môn • shaping and delivery of strategy as well as ensuring the organisation meets its social objectives • Ensuring Bwyd Da Môn continues to grow, develop and achieve full Companies House compliance.
What are we looking for?
• We are seeking individuals with Senior leadership experience to join our board and work with our team to oversee the development our services and organisation • Previous financial management experience in a business, particularly a third sector organisation • Management of company accounts • Someone who can provide some of their leisure time to support the expansion of Bwyd Da Môn across Anglesey. • To work as a team and provide direction and leadership within the Bwyd Da Môn board group
You will help to build a resilient and sustainable organisation that is able to meet the needs and enhance the wellbeing of Anglesey residents through reducing food waste and increase access to more affordable food sources.
